Ravhaus Eve™ Terms of Use
Effective date: October 28, 2026
Last updated: October 31, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ravhaus Eve™ mobile application (“Eve”, “the app”), published by John Rave Domingo, doing business as Ravhaus (“Ravhaus”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using Eve, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
These Terms apply in addition to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple Standard EULA”), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA, these Terms apply to the extent permitted.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Eve on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store’s usage rules. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or sublicense the app, or attempt to reverse-engineer or extract its source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
2. Your content
Your tasks, notes, occasions and other content you enter belong to you and are stored on your device. We do not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for the content you enter and for keeping backups of anything important.
If you send us feedback, you allow us to use it to improve Eve without any obligation to you.
3. Eve Pro subscription
Eve Pro is an optional, auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features described in the app. Pro can also be unlocked with Eve Lifetime, a one-time purchase (see section 4).
- Billing. Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if one applies.
- Free trial. The free trial applies to the yearly plan only: 14 days, for eligible new subscribers. The monthly plan has no free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts at the regular price and your Apple Account is charged. Eligibility is determined by Apple and is limited to one introductory offer per subscription group per Apple Account, so you may not be eligible if you have subscribed before.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device’s Settings, under your Apple Account and Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the current paid period.
- Monthly revives. While Pro is active (through a subscription or Eve Lifetime), your revives are topped up to 3 at the start of each month. Unused monthly revives do not carry over, and you can never hold more than 3 revives at once.
- Price changes. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency. If the price of your subscription changes, Apple will notify you as required and, where required, ask for your consent.
4. One-time purchases
- Eve Lifetime. Eve Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks Pro with no renewal and no further charges. It may be offered only at certain times, but once bought it is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored at any time using Restore Purchases. Buying Eve Lifetime does not cancel an existing Pro subscription: cancel it in your device’s Settings, under your Apple Account and Subscriptions, to stop its renewals.
- Revives. Revives restore a streak after one missed day. Everyone receives 3 free revives. Additional revives can be purchased individually or as a refill to 3. You can never hold more than 3 revives at once.
- Buy the developer a coffee. This is a voluntary tip to support development. The first time you buy a coffee, Eve adds a small thank-you gift inside the app (currently 3 days of Pro features and one revive, if you have fewer than 3). Later purchases are tips only and do not unlock anything.
- Virtual items. Revives and gifts are virtual items with no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged, transferred, refunded by us, or redeemed for cash, and they are used up when spent.
- Deleting the app. Deleting Eve deletes your streak, revives and other in-app progress, including purchased revives, which cannot be restored. Active subscriptions and Eve Lifetime are tied to your Apple Account and can be restored using Restore Purchases.
5. Gifts and promotions
From time to time, Eve may offer gifts such as temporary access to Pro features on your birthday (for example, when a birthday was saved at least 30 days earlier) or after your first coffee. Gifts are a courtesy, not a paid entitlement, and we may change or end them at any time.
6. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies; we cannot issue refunds directly. You can request a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the app or interfere with its normal operation;
- attempt to unlock paid features without paying, including by manipulating device settings, dates or stored data;
- use the app for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law allows it.
8. Intellectual property
Ravhaus Eve™, the Eve and Ravhaus names and wordmarks, the app’s design, text, graphics, sounds and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you any rights to them other than the license in section 1. The Inter font is used under the SIL Open Font License.
9. Changes to the app
We may add, change or remove features over time. If a change materially reduces what Eve Pro includes, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
10. Reminders and planning disclaimer
Eve is a planning aid. We work hard to make reminders, notifications, streaks and widgets reliable, but they depend on your device, its settings and the operating system, and they may not always be delivered or displayed exactly as expected. Do not rely on Eve for anything where a missed or late reminder could cause harm, loss or danger.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eve is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that your data will never be lost.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Eve. Our total liability for any claim relating to Eve is limited to the amount you paid for Eve in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the app or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Termination
You may stop using Eve at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (including sections 2, 6, 8, and 11 to 16) survive termination.
15. Apple
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and that we, not Apple, are solely responsible for Eve and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. To the extent any warranty applies and is not effectively disclaimed, Apple’s responsibility is limited as described in the Apple Standard EULA. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims, or claims that the app infringes third-party intellectual property rights. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. For significant changes, we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use Eve after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
